The power within contains many positive voices. When we are unaware or choose not to listen to this positive power, problems can develop with jobs, families, friends and most of all ourselves. The job of the counselor is to help persons find and listen to the voice within that will effect positive change. Areas of change include: communication, self control, self worth, setting boundaries, problem solving, and stress management.
I provie counseling to fit the unique needs of couples and families. We start with where you are and what you want to accomplish. Along the way we can learn, laugh and celebrate progress made together. I have over thirty years of experience providing counseling in Mental Health Clinics and hospitals for the mentally ill. This past year, I taught stress and anger management at Coyote Ridge Correctional Center. My current joy is working with seniors, perhaps, because I am a senior as well. I am approved by Medicare to provide counseling services to seniors at no cost to them.
